⊲ Please allow 5-7 business days for your order to be packaged and shipped. Please be aware shipping times may be longer due to the covid-19 crisis. We do our best to get your packages packed up and shipped in a timely fashion, but once it is dropped off at the post office it is out of our control.

⊲ Be aware that custom orders will take longer. The turn time will depend on the piece itself and will be discussed if we take on your custom order.

⊲ All stained glass orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail and are insured up to $100. All non-stained glass items are shipped USPS First Class. If you are purchasing both stained glass piece(s) and non-stained glass item(s), we will combine your order to ship together as Priority Mail. Unfortunately there is currently no way for us to remove the shipping costs when the items are combined, so in these instances we will refund the shipping costs after the fact.

⊲ Orders containing only stickers will have free shipping and be mailed like a normal letter, this means there will be no tracking (if you would like tracking for these orders and are okay with paying shipping please reach out).

⊲ We do offer socially distanced, porch drop offs for those local to the Reno/Sparks area. The delivery zone is for zip codes: 89431, 89434, 89501, 89502, 89503, 89509, 89512.

⊲ Orders are generally delivered within 3-5 business days (at max) of when you placed your order. If you need your order sooner please leave us a note at checkout with when you would prefer to receive it and a phone number to reach you at and we will do our best to make it happen.

⊲ Please note it will be like a UPS drop off and knock type of delivery.

⊲ Your order will ship Priority Mail International and are insured up to $200 and should be delivered in 6-10 days (due to current delays it could take longer). Please note, there might be additional custom/duty/tax fees upon delivery that A Glass Fantasy is not responsible for.

⊲ Orders containing only non-stained glass items can be shipped First Class Package International and would be delivered in 1-3+ weeks. This is significantly less expensive than shipping priority mail since theses items are small, light and less fragile than stained glass. If you would like your qualifying order to be shipped this way instead, please leave a note at checkout. The difference between actual shipping costs and the amount paid at check out will be refunded for these orders.

⊲ Orders containing only stickers or decals will have only $0.75 charged for shipping and will be mailed like a normal letter, this means there will be no tracking (if you would like tracking for these orders and are okay with paying shipping please reach out).

⊲ If your item arrives damaged please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your package and we will work with you on getting it replaced in a timely fashion. Please include photographs of the damaged item (and photographs of the packaging for the USPS insurance claim) so we can evaluate how we would like to proceed with it on our end. If the package is noticeably damaged before opening, please document the box before opening and as you unwrap. The helps with the insurance claim.

⊲ If you are an international customer who chose First Class shipping for your order your package will be uninsured which means there is likely nothing we can do if you package arrives damaged.

⊲ Since we are such a small operation, just mom and I, all sales are final.

⊲ We’re not responsible for lost or stolen packages, mistakes at the post office or mistakes in addresses - please double check that you’ve given us the correct address before completing your purchase.

⊲ There is a good chance there will be variations. Stained glass is very hard to photograph and we can’t guarantee that the photos on the listings are an exact representation of the piece. Most likely your piece will look even better in person than it does in the photographs.

⊲ Depending on the listing the photographs may not be of the exact piece you will receive, but will be very similar. Due to the nature of stained glass there will be color and finish variations.

⊲ For small pieces a nail or a screw works great. For larger pieces we recommend a hook, possibly with an anchor, depending on the weight of the piece.

⊲ We don’t recommend suction cups on the window, unless we specifically send one with the piece, as they are not very secure and could result in falling.

⊲ Caring for your new piece doesn’t require a lot of work on your end, but there are a few key things you’ll want to know. Check out our Stained Glass Care page for all the info you need to keep your piece looking shiny and new!

⊲ Yes! We are currently teaching a few different workshops held at Copper Cat Studios. These include a 101 intro to stained glass, 102 slightly more advance workshop, 102.1 lead came workshop, pressed flower sun catchers, kaleidoscopes and glass cutting and soldering techniques workshops. We don’t offer them all all the time so keep up to date with what is scheduled on our events page.

Whether it’s been a few months or 20 years, if your piece from us is falling apart or isn’t holding up due to no fault of your own please reach out to us and we will do whatever is in our power to fix it at no cost to you.

⊲ Yes, however unless you ingest it (ie don’t lick your new piece), the lead in your piece is not toxic to you. As a precaution we recommend keeping the piece away from children (they might drop it anyway) and washing your hands before eating right after handling the piece.

⊲ Would you have thought to even ask this? Generally yes, with one exception that applies to our work. Glue chip glass, which we use occasionally, is made by sandblasting one side of the glass and coating it in hot animal hide glue. As the glue dries, chips of the sandblasted surface are pulled off to create the unique frost-like texture. Animal hide glue is used because of the way it bonds to the glass and shrinks as it dries, which synthetic glues don’t do. Pieces using this glass will have a special note in the product description stating they aren’t vegan, but if you’re ever unsure always feel free to reach out.
