Copper Patina
Turn your solder copper with this copper patina. We’ve normally use Novacan’s Super Brite patina, but this was all that was available to us when stocking our shop. We’ve tested it and it works just as well as the other stuff!
We find that your bottle will last longer if you pour a little in a separate container to dip into for application. This eliminates the risk of contaminating your entire bottle.

Please note patina is corrosive and it is best practice to wear gloves (and if you care about your clothing, an apron) while applying and handling.

Pro Tip: we find it helpful to get a really bright and shiny copper patina by applying it with CJ’s flux remover on it. After washing our pieces—with CJ’s and steel wool pads—we suds it up more CJ’s and apply the copper pantia right after. Then we rinse and polish with Semi Chrome polish for a super bright and shiny finish.

Our number one most asked question is if we sell supplies. If you’re in the Reno/ Sparks area then you know how difficult it can be to buy them. Well we’ve heard you and have decided to start selling a limited selection in our shop. We’re starting off by carrying what we regularly use for our own studio, but if you’re looking something specific and don’t see it reach out and we’ll see if we can get it for you.
If you are in the Reno/Sparks area we offer free porch delivery within 3-5 business days (max) of when you placed your order - choose Delivery at checkout. If you’re in urgent need of supplies and would like to arrange either a delivery or pick up sooner please leave a note at check out and we will give you a call to try to set something up. Please note there are only two of us so we may not always be able to accommodate it, but we’ll certainly try our best.
Supplies are shipped USPS First Class and First Class Package International (1-3+ weeks). If you are an international customer who would like your order shipped priority mail (6-10 days) so it arrives to you sooner, please leave a note at checkout (please note you will be sent an invoice for the difference in shipping costs).
