Tropical Birds
This intricate and beautiful tropical scene was made in 1987 and took home first place at North Star’s Fine Art Show in 1987.
This window uses Tiffany stained glass techniques as well as sandblasting to add even more detail to some of the birds’ faces. Each piece of glass is hand cut, like puzzle pieces, ground and then copper foiled and soldered together. Copper patina is then applied to the solder and the window is then cleaned, polished and waxed.
This window measure approximately 43” in diameter, including the wood frame, and comes ready to hang with chain.
